For all people, new to it, or with years of spiritual searching behind them - this book offers a straight forward, plainly written explanation for why and how 'living in the now' is so important. I find him thought provoking, no nonsense and realistic. I have given this book to my family friends and keep a copy by my bed - if you think are interested, buy it!

Eckhart Tolle's book "Awakening to your life's Purpose" is one of the most intelligent books I have ever read, and I have read many on this subject. He writes straight to the point where one can easily understand what he is speaking about. I thourougly recommend this book to everyone of all ages, all faith's. It has brought me so much
more understanding as why I am here, and it is a great read.

This book is a real eye-opener! The author explains in easy to read language about what we do to cover up our real 'selves'. It will give you insights into yourself that you would not normally ever think about and challenges your beliefs. Simply amazing and a must read!

Words are pretty inadequate when it comes to expressing the truths written by Eckhart Tolle. How do I know it's true? It resonates! When you "get" it, the money spent on buying this book will pay for itself over and over....I'm up to my third reading of it and STILL I find "aha's" on every reading. Doesn't get much better than that!

a far better read than the Power of Now, eckhart further elaborates on many issues which are great for relationships and gaining further personal insight and awareness, more zen principles for the western world.

I found this was a really life changing book that resonated with me. The first chapters were harder to get through then the later chapters I found. I have reread the book and gained more out of it, things that I had missed. It is compatible with other aspects of spirituality. I saw "myself" in some of the writing and have made necessary changes that have brought me calm and peace.

I also found it useful having Oprah's podcasts and worksheets to go with this book. It helped solidify the writings for me, and inspired me to investigate further.

I enjoyed reading this very informative book on awakening.

Eckhart Tolle has given a very clear explanation regarding in the
'Power of Now' of what it means to live in the now rather than dwelling on the past and or looking into the future.

Well what can I say? Here's some transformative thinking that translates the messages in many spiritual disciplines or religions into language and clarity that is immediately accessible to our "floppy and distracted western minds" without the baggage that can come with religious ideology.
