not the most pleasant read, but an interesting companion to anyone who reads H. P. lovecraft, and his stories of the mad arab, Alhazred. very dark, even gothic, and cleverly written. not quite a coffee table book!, but a curious addition to a gothic or pagan bookshelf, or for those who seek to learn of the dark arts
