Painter, photographer, writer and some-time architect, Alasdair McGregors professional interests range from natural history and the environment, to architecture, design and the history of exploration. He has published a number of books including The Kimberley: Horizons of Stone. His books have been short-listed for a number of major literary prizes and Grand Obsessions won the 2011 National Biography Award.
