I bought this to give to my one year old daughter as a present for her birthday as she loves books and my little pony. At first glance when it arrived I thought it might be a bit old for her but I gave it a go, now she loves looking at the pictures and enjoys it as a bed time story. The book has lots of easy words and they are in a reasonable sized print so it is easy for learning to read. My partners other daughter who is two enjoys this book as well and she finds it easy to read out aloud. the story is very engaging which is important for a childrens book! I highly reccomend this book its great for kids that are just learning to read
