Mr Muggs has life well organised. The school library keeps him well cared for and in return he keeps the library free of pesky rats. But Mr Muggs also has a deal with his rat mate, Pedro, who must appear and allow himself to be caught on a regular basis to keep the humans happy. Mr Muggs always releases him unharmed, out of sight, and in return the cat and rats enjoy the run of the library and all its hidden fantasy adventures in the pages of the book collection.

About the Author

Auckland author/illustrator, Dave Gunson, has completed a number of titles for Scholastic, including Wildlife Stuff . More recently he has worked on Lucy Davey's Pandora's Potato Romp, Santa and the Reindeer by Maria Farrer, and the charming Will and Woof by Tanya Warren.
