Wayne Frye's Aaron Adams, Girl series books and Lynton adventures are popular among mystery readers. He writes satirical political commentary for newspapers and his books on politics have created a great deal of controversy. He has written marketing/advertising textbooks, been a highly successful U.S. university hockey coach, professor, university president and served as a marketing consultant to hockey teams and motion picture companies. He has been cited for his work with inner-city gang children in the Los Angeles area and been active in the anti-globalization movement. He became a Canadian citizen in 2003 and lives in Ladysmith, British Columbia and Cavite, Philippines. Jasmine Falling Rain Frye is the former wife of J. Wayne Frye. Thought divorced, they still occasionally write together. She is the home-care nurse for the Sts'ailes Reserve, which is about 100 kilometres east of Vancouver, British Columbia. She is a member of the Navajo tribe in Arizona, but has lived in Canada since 2002 and considers the Sts'ailes Reserve her home. Each day there, in her words, "is a sojourn in paradise."
