I LOVE this handbook. I've used it on my pediatric rotations as a nursing undergrad, and in primary care clinical as an NP student. It has all the key info, tables, and diagrams you would hope for in a pediatric assessment handbook - growth charts, developmental tables, vital signs tables, illustrations of common skin lesions, normal lab values, dif dx of cough, genogram and ecomap samples, etc. It has content applicable to primary and hospital care, although it seems a little more oriented to primary care. I'd recommended it to any student nurse doing pediatrics rotations or to nurses new to pediatrics.
The only drawback is that the book is a few years old, so the immunization tables in the index are outdated, but it's easy enough to get updated immunization info online.
