His works have been exhibited in Paris, Brasilia, New York, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis. He is a regular contributor to The New Yorker, and has been featured in Geo and Architectural Digest Germany. He has received numerous honors, including a World Press Award and two Alfred Eisenstaedt Awards, one of them for the work in Havana.
