This sure is a great book for people who haven't figured out everything in the Bible and also for people who have never had any interest for it.It's a life changing book because you get a clear view of things, everything around you.Simple to read and easy to understand.I have to say that I'm not religious and not believing much in anything but this book sure made me think.

Eugene Peterson's translation breathes new life into the ancient message of the Bible. It is a paraphrase of the original languages, and now offers the whole of Scripture. A much easier version to read than many of the dynamic-equivalence or literal translations. Peterson's translations of the epistles and the prophets are particular good. An excellent version for seekers, or as an alternative to your study Bible (e.g. NIV or NRSV).

Many different versions of the Bible have come out since Martin Luther first fired up his printing presses. Some are easy to follow, some are not. The Message version is an easy to read bible, written in current language. Reading more like a novel than a work of Shakesphere, or a primary school book, as do other versions, this version is accurate and easy to follow, and hence, highly readable.
