A window into the mind of Hitler. This book provides an insight into the Fuher's thinking and plans for the world, however Hitler is viewed as a mad man, and the proof is in the pudding. Nonsensical form and highly irrelevant rants litter the pages and make the book very hard to follow. Many of the topics explored are completely out of context to our modern world and appear to be nothing more than jargon filled rants. A book of profound historical importance, but rather hard to follow and interpret.

This is a very important book, but it is a very difficult read too. It is long and heavily repetitious (it was dictated while Hitler was in prison, so no doubt a few rants are included). (Not to mention some rather bizarre, but nonetheless heartfelt, diatribes about syphillis and its pernicious effects). And it's his intentions he lays out here, his plan for Germany and Europe should he ever come to power. He is a master political thinker and manipulator, and here we begin to see why. It is distasteful in the extreme but still important.
