About the Author

Nathan Kumar Scott is a storyteller by profession and has worked closely with school groups in India and elsewhere. His repertoire of stories include lesser known tales from South-East Asia, especially stories in the trickster tradition. T.Balaji is a traditional Kalamkari artist. Kalamkari art is textile art - artists work with natural dyes and earth colours. He lives and works in the famous temple town of Tirupathi, one of the oldest centres for ritual art and worship in southern India.
