A brilliant book for the horse owner who wants to learn how to trim their own horses feet. The book gives you a step by step guide to hoof trimming, with many pictures and diagrams to help explain the text. Should be read in conjunction with Horse Owners Guide to Natural Hoof Care - by Jaime Jackson, which gives all the background research to the techniques in the book.

Pete Ramey is an intelligent, concise and non nonsense writer. His honesty and willingness to share information comes across in the tone and content of this book. Everyone who has anything to do with horses should have this book. The truth is, peripheral loading of the hoof is unnatural and harmful, and the world needs to come to grips with this, and with the way most horses are kept.
