An excellent historical saga filled with some great twists and turns. These books are well written and real page turners. I loved the first one and honestly couldn't put it down. It shows the the lives of several different characters and how their lives are entwined with each other. Juicy with lots of scandals and secrets.

This series is great for young and old readers alike. I definately recommend getting the box set if you cant afford the hardcovers. The box keeps the books in good condition. This series is good to read about upperclass New York in the early 1800's. Follow the socialites through there troubles and parties and privleges and struglles.
