I don't normally bother reading books about actors as they are usually boring. I read this as it was given to me and was surprised to find it a truly personal account of Michael J. Fox's feelings and attitudes, not only towards Parkinsons but towards family life and life in general. He comes across as a genuinely caring person who was prepared to coast along in life until he was given this challenge. Gradually he comes to accept the limitations the disease imposes on him but his determination to live fully is an inspiration for all as we face our own challenges in life.

An enjoyable read. I was interested in reading this book not just because it was Michael J Fox but to find out more about Parkinson's.
Very informative, insightful and at times sad.
Michael has a really good attitude towards Parkinson's and a healthy respect for it.
I have lent this book out to two people already and have two others waiting to read it.

This is a great retelling of his life. It can get boring in some parts but take the good with the bad. It made me think more about what we are doing as a nation to help find a cure for this disease. It really does make you realise what it is like to be a star - not all that glamorous!
