I don't know what happened with the official description of this book (saddle club??) above, which is a mistake.
Ok, this book gave me goosebumps when I first read it before buying it. It is about a boy and his Mother, and goes through stages of childhood to adulthood, and all through it, no matter what the little boy gets up to, his mother comes in every night, and says,
"I love you forever,
I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living,
My baby you'll be".
It is THE most beautiful children's book I have EVER read, and I buy it for everyone I know who have little ones, or have just given birth. My boys absolutely adore it, and it reassures them that even when mummy gets grumpy or they are naughty or they are grown up, they will always be loved.
The ending is so moving. Please buy it!!!!

This book is just amazing for the child hearing it and so touching and emotional for the reader. I love it.

My daughter loved this book!! the colours are beautiful and it was nice and simple to read as well.
This is a book that i would recommend to parents to read to their children at night time before bed.

This delightful picture book is written for young children. It's story is improbable (would a mother really travel to her sleeping son's flat to sing him a lullaby?), but the message is great. Guaranteed to bring a smile - or a tear to everyone who reads it.Anyone who has experienced this sort of love will identify strongly with the book's message and is blessed indeed!

This is a classic story about unconditional love and how it continues to the next generations. I even heard this book recommended by a Professor of Psychology to her students to read.
It was read at a playgroup I attended and there was not a dry eye in the house (of the mothers!).
I have given the book to my grown nephew who has just had a baby girl, and his mother is dying of cancer. Very profound.
Simply put, this is a keepsake book. Beautiful.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as other books with similar themes (such as 'Guess How Much I love you' and other books by Sam McBratney). My children never really cared for it and it is rarely taken off the bookshelf. The premise is sweet, but I don't think that the story has enough character to really engage young children. Not a particularly popular book in our family and not one that I would particularly recommend.
