Lord of the Rings Guidebook is great for any fan. Here you can find and read about the locations of the movie. A great book but locations interest in any case is limited. So good clear easy to read. But don't expect to be thrilled. Recommended for all fans. Pretty good.
This is an interesting book but there is no doubt that it really is just jumping on the bandwagon of the success of the film and really is just another bunch of pretty pictures of places that may or may not be easily recognisable from the heavily edited films. Would probably be a great present for a genuine fan, but you would get more value from buying the actual fiction paperback.
This book is great for any fan of the movie trilogy or for that matter, movie making in general. In fact it's even great for those of us that just love great scenery. I lived in Wellington for a while and it was interesting to see locations as I drove around and took scenic walks. This book provides directions and everything. A must have guide-book overall.
This book makes for a really good gift to anyone who is a fan of Lord Of The Rings, as it tells where many of the popular scenes from the movie were shot! This contains lots of stills about the places where this was filmed, and if you live in the South Island, then you are likely to find a whole bunch of familiar places in this book, as a lot of it was shot there, which you will learn after reading this book!
This book is really good in the fact that it shows the locations picked for all the movies without the enhancments that were put in the movie. With buetiful pictures and screenshots and how certian things were made for the movie to look more realistic!
