Lilianna,the daughter of The Blood Sorcerer is on a quest to find Micah,the youngest prince of the Elden royal family.She finds him in the terrifying Lord of the Abyss,the guardian whose task is to bring evil souls the Abyss.

Micah,the Lord of the Abyss is intrigued by his new prisoner who does not cower in fear in his presence but dares to bargain with him....

This was a fast paced and at times sweet romance.I loved that Micah threatens Liliana with his dungeon all the time,its cute that he pretends to be scary but isn't really.The first half is about Liliana living with Micah in his castle and trying to get him to remember his identity.The second half is about Liliana and Michah's journey back to Elden to defeat her father.The one complaint I had about this book was the action scenes were a little rushed. Although this book is part of a series,the previous characters are not heavily featured and appear only as cameo roles.Overall,recommended for fans of Nalini Singh.
