The Lorax is a wonderful Dr Seuss book. I would rate it as my favourite of all his works. It's funny, the pictures are beautiful and it has a wonderful message about ecology.
A great read for any age - 3yrs, 8yrs, 12yrs, adult!

The Lorax is funny book where this thing
called a Once-ler comes and he chops
down all the Truffula trees and all the birds
and fish and other stuff that lived there
had to go away because they cant
be in all the smoke and goo. And
as for the Lorax he was never seen again.
This is a really good book for all ages. By Kale age 8

I found the front page of this book great to question younger children before reading it what they thought the book would be about. It is great listening to children sharing what is on thier minds about the story before attempting to read it. I found this book great to read to others and listening to them read it to me.

This is my all time favourite book! It is best enjoyed read aloud - and I have to admit that sometimes I even read it aloud to myself! THe environmental and responsibility message is loud and clear, helped by the Lorax. It also deals with issues of greed and sustainablilty!
