5 of 5 Stars! – Customer review on 14/10/2009

One of the best childrens books I have ever read. My 5 year old son loves it. It is beautifully written and has the wonderful theme that love conqueres all. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a wonderful book that they can read over and over to their children at bedtime. Definately one of the best.

5 of 5 Stars! – Customer review on 20/08/2008

One of the best books written, with an awesome underlying moral and lesson about how it is good to be different, and to follow your own path. Once again a well written book, with beautiful illustrations.

5 of 5 Stars! – Customer review on 27/12/2007

This is a delightful picture book which will be well loved by younger children.

Written in rhyme, as are all of Giles Andreae's books - it is the charming story of a lion who is a little bit different from the rest of the pride. The title says it all. A simple tale but with a lesson to learn about being different. Beautifully told and wonderfully illustrated with vibrant colour on each page.

If you only own one of Giles Andreae's animal stories, make it this one!
