This is a beautiful book which explains the invaluable but hard to learn lesson of life and death. It's written for children from about 4 - 10 years old. I grew up with this book being read to me by my mother, who bought it after my grandparents both died, to explain to the then 3-4 year old that every living thing has a life-time and in turn, passes away: trees, animals, flowers. Easy to understand, and beautifully written and illustrated, this book is an invaluable addition to any family who are finding it difficult to explain death to the young members of the family. Highly recommend this book.
