This book is amusing. A professor asks the African animals how did the Zebras get their stripes, several different stories are told by the giraffe, ostrich, leopard, lion and the gazelle. It will make your child laugh and the ending it does say they dont know how, but each zebras stripes are like our fingerprints, unique.

This colourful Little Golden book is told in an amusing documentary/interview style and tells 4 myths about how the zebra got stripes, as told by the giraffe, ostrich, gazelle and Lion. Each story is creative and amusing, and the book ends with some interesting facts about the Zebra. This book is also a good introduction to animals tha live on the African plains.
