Since there seems to be few Maori books out there, I wouldnt criticize this book too much. With that said, its small and lacks a lot of fundamental aspects if you want to actually learn Maori. There is no vocabulary at all and the grammar that it teaches is scant and doesnt go in depth. I really wouldnt recommend this to anyone who wants more than an overview for casual understanding of how Maori works. It may be a good refresher for those that know it will come back so to speak. But since I dont have that perspective, I wouldnt know for sure.
In Other words, there are better books out there. If you want something simple and that doesnt go into detail, this is the book for you.
