The final book of the trilogy and the most action packed. Thrawn unleashes his plan in full force against the New Republic and a fleet of Smuggler's that Han, Chewie and Talon Karrde have helped form. Leia prepares to give birth to the twins and save the Noghri civilisation from the Empire. Luke and Mara Jade face off against C'baaoth and his new Dark Apprentice Luuke Skywalker. Will Mara Jade finally fulfill the Emperor's Last Command and bring herself peace? How will the the New Republic defeat the genius of Grand Admiral Thrawn?

As Thrawn mounts his final victory by bringing in the clones, Leia prepares for the birth of her twins.
Han and Chewie try scraping together a smuggler rebellion against the empire and Luke faces himself (literally) in a final battle against C'baoth who has decided he'd rather kill him and control Leia's kids and a new force user who wont have as much resistance.

Just when the Republic thought that the insidious and unfortunately very clever Thrawn could sink no lower, he does. In other words, send in the clones!

This gives him the manpower (clonepower?) he needs to crew enough ships to blow the crap out of lots of the Republic forces and fortresses.

Han and Chewie must gain aid from a smuggler fleet, to try and stop Thrawn. Luke contends with the evil Jedi Master C'Boath.

Leia, very heavily pregnant, desperately tries to hold things together politically.

The Finale of a great trilogy

With Trawns Great tac and Abundance of manpower all of the fragile republic seems ready to crack.
