This book describes very well the grim state of the children's life experiences in nature these days. It is mainly focused on the USA but I belief it applies to many Western countries these days. We adults had a childhood in which roaming around nature and our neighborhoods was part of our lives. Nowadays we see the world as unsafe and therefor protect our children from it by keeping them within sight at all times. This book describes the consequences for our children and their lack in love for nature and what this means for the future. Sobering but inspiring at the same time.
