It's been called the greatest story ever told - or in Kiwi, a seriously good yarn. That bloke Jesus turned out to be a pretty interesting character with plenty to say that's still relevant today. This particular volume covers the Jesus stuff - as told by an early observer (Mark by name). The rest of the book is taken up with the beginnings of the Christian church, but all in a language of Kiwis rather than your more churchy sounding stuff.
