Little Bear is a firm favourite in our house. The stories are lovely, stories of friendship, helping out and kindness, perfect for the littlies. We also use the books as readers as the children are older. The drawings are lovely – not too many colours are used, so the eye can focus on the shading and detail in the drawings, rather than be distracted by too many bright colours. Very restful, gentle books.
