Jad Adams is an author, television producer and regular contributor to History Today. He has a reputation for writing challenging biographies of political and artistic subjects, including Pankhurst (Haus Publishing, 2003) and Gandhi: Naked Ambition (Quercus, 2010). In August 2011 he won the London Peace Prize for his work with London's homeless.
