About the Author
Dave Bellomo began weight training at the age of 11 in his basement. By the age of 15, Bellomo was a competitive powerlifter who went on to set numerous records. He attended a small college in Pennsylvania majoring in Health Science. He performed his required field experience at Penn State as a student strength coach with the championship football program of the early 1990's. Bellomo began his work as a professional trainer and fitness director working at private health clubs as well as YMCA's. Later, Bellomo moved into corporate fitness and has worked with such companies as Wachovia Bank and Novant Health. He currently consults high-level athletes such as Mixed Martial Artists and World's Strongest Man competitors as well as elite military and law enforcement professionals such as members of Homeland Security and US Special Operations. He designed kettlebells that appeared in the major motion picture, Never Back Down. He currently resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and 5 children, and can be found online at www.davebellomo.com.

Very well written, with lots of pictures & step by step guides on how to perform each exercise. Premade workouts are good & help you develop the skills required to perform the advanced exercises.
I owned a kettlebell for nine months and just looked at it, I tried the internet to find instructions on how to use it but could not get motivated to try the exercises. This is where Bellomo's book came in. It has a huge amount of kettlebell exercises very well explained all with visuals. There are premade workouts for specific goals, and includes a section on how to create your own goal specific workouts. Now the only time I look at my kettlebell is when I am swinging it and sweating. The book is a great compliment to an exceptional workout tool.
