Katie visits her grandparents' farm and goes in search of the mischievous cat Tam, who keeps one step ahead of her all the way. Katie asks all the animals if they have seen Tam.

Matthew Fitt is a published novelist and poet as well as a
translator. An acknowledged expert in the field of Scots language
education, Matthew has written numerous children's books and has
translated a number of titles into Scots including Roald Dahl's The
Eejits and Geordie's Mingin Medicine.
Karen Sutherland (Illustrator)
Karen Sutherland is an award-winning artist who is also the
illustrator of Animal ABC, A Moose in the Hoose, Eck the Bee and
all the books in the Katie series, Katie's Coo, Katie's Moose and
Katie's Ferm.
