About the Author

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Vivi Simone still makes her home in the beautiful coastal city.

Happily married and the mother of two children, she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in special education. Simone taught high school special education for six years, ultimately giving it up because of the burdensome paperwork required by today's school system.
