The alternative spelling poster is excellent. My daughter has found it very useful in learning the alternative sounds and runs to the poster every time she comes across then during reading. A very helpfull visual tool when trying to help children to read. My daughter is becoming quite a confident reader. a great buy and a great book for young kids.
Having worked in a Language School for the past three years Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar formed the basis of our literacy programs. The spelling poster has been great for my year one students as they are constantly refering to it when they are writing daily and even when spelling new words that may have the same sound but spelt differently.
