This great book starts with simple things like hiragana and katakana and some basic words, then it branches off into the more complicated parts of the japanese language! It describes how verbs and adjectives work, it describes A LOT OF the particles in Japanese and I am only half way through the book! I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about learning japanese!
