the Janna Mysteries series are an awesome read,
I highly enjoyed reading them and ahd trouble putting them down.
the books are based in medievial england during the civil war between King Stephen an the Empress Matilda, which is around 1140 AD.
The first book , rosemary for rememberance is a story of Janna and her mother, the wortwfy(herb wife/healer) Eadgyth, Janna's want of being use and her mothers past.
When her mother dies suddenly after a strange vist from a lady, Janna does all she can to find out what happened, and tires to discover who her father is.
Godric, a local Villein has also caught her eye, but she has no wish to marry yet and it only adds to her list of worries.
it is a beautifully written book and very easy to get into and enjoy.
Rue for Repentance takes place at a manor where Janna is hidden form Lord Robert, in the guise of o male youth.
strange things happening and when a child goes missing, yet again she must discover what is happening, and who she will turn to for help, godric, hugh or edwin.
an all round good book.
i highly recomend these books to anyone who enjoys either history, teenage, mystery or romance.
