Jacob and Faith are both breeds in this story and their romance is sizzling hot. Both characters have suffered a traumatic past and a hurtful separation but now that they have reunited, they are given a second chance at love. There's lots of fiery interactions between them as well as the overwhelming love and passion they still feel for each other. It's a suspenseful plot with danger and truly evil villains that need to be defeated all in the fascinating paranormal world of wolf breeds.

This is one of Leigh’s novels about the Breeds, genetically mutated men and women birthed in labs and tortured to become the ultimate soldiers until they escaped to live in uneasy proximity with the general population. ‘Jacob’s Faith’ was written for Ellora’s Cave, which means the sexual content is extremely high. When Leigh moved to more mainstream publishers the storyline developed to equal the sensuality content, but in these earlier novels storyline is about thirty percent or less of the novel. Having said that, however, the novel is still well-written. Leigh has good characters, dialogue, and when the story is allowed to develop, a nice hand with a plot. In ‘Jacob’s Faith’ Jacob and Faith, both escapees from the lab, are reunited after six years. Six years of torment for both, but especially Faith because Jacob marked her the last time they saw each other, neither knowing that it would leave Faith in an almost perpetual state of heat . . . and a really bad temper, as Jacob discovers when he and Faith are brought back together when both are in danger.
