Really great, I've found a few new authors whose books I'm going to read.
So good I could hardly put it down.

This is a collection of short stories from a variety of irish authors - including the 3 big names on the cover who generally i am a great fan of. But to be frank i was a tad dissapointed by this compilation - there was a few good reads within but there was also alot that didnt engage or inspire. Maeve Binchy's connected in with one of her mainstream novels and expanded the storyline of one of the minor characters in that which was really well done. Overall though, if you're tempted because of Maeve, Marian or Cathy, get one of their full novels instead.

This book is a lot like somethign from Marian Keyes so if you liked her books you'll llove this one too! Irish Girls About the Town is very cool for Iriish girls but girls from all over the world will enjoy it too! A very good read. if you like this one you'll also like Sushi For Beginners, Rachels Holiday, Angels e.t.c.e.t.c.e.t.c
