She has over 20 years' experience in teaching and research in higher education as well as public health and health promotion. Her research experience is in action research; process, impact and outcome evaluation in health promotion; and public health interventions. Mary Louise has worked as a consultant for the World Health Organization and Commonwealth and state health departments and has sat on National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) public health project grant review panels. She has been widely published in the area of health promotion. Elizabeth Parker is an Adjunct Associate Professor, and formerly Director of Academic Programs, in the School of Public Health at the Queensland University of Technology. She has teaching and research experience in public health and health promotion, and was a member of the Editorial Advisory Committee for the Health Promotion Journal of Australia. She worked as a senior manager in the Toronto Department of Public Health, and has acted as a consultant on projects for the Australian Government and Queensland Health. |
