Very useful book for beginners. Sugarcraft is the art of decorating cakes with fully illustrated foolproof step-by-step instructions. Practice makes perfect sugarcraft, and i think specialized equipments are required.

good solid reference book - covers the basics and the really tricky stuff too. Helpful to look up things and interesting to look through for a browse. The only down point I would give would be that it's not really "s*xy" and modern, lacks that really slick "edge" that cooking books have these days. The general feel is very solid, but like an 80's sort of style - even though all the information is fully up to date and recent. Still buy it - very useful indeed - but if you're after cutting edge wedding cakes then buy Planet Cake as well!
