Learning a foreign language compared to learning a practical job like painting or putting together machines is completely different. You have to consider the extent of how much a DIY book can help you in respective situations. I find the Dummies series is extremely good for practical tasks but not so much for learning things that requires repetitive practise. Such as dance or languages. This book isn’t too bad though, but I wouldn’t recommend it for this price.
I found this book particularly entertaining, it turns out it is more helpful than I thought it would be. The content is pretty relevant, and the topics are split into logical groups to break down and really build your knowledge from ground up via a good contents page. They are really experts at the whole subject, so it’s a reliable source of info.
You’ be surprised at how many books lack contents, in fiction or non fiction. What were the publishers thinking when they agreed to such a format? Fortunately this book has a satisfactory contents page that allows structure and promotes the learning of the brain when reading Everything’s logically ordered. With good structure, the info learnt lasts longer in your brain.
