This is the first part of a duology, that was previously released as a trilogy. It is an excellent story that will be appreciated by fans of the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer.

It the story of a teenager named Cassie who moves with her mother to the small town that her mother grew up in. She soon discovers a family secret and is drawn into the world of the circle, a group of the most popular students in the school.

I started reading not sure what to expect, but it grabbed me and I had to keep reading.
