This would be a neat book to do at the beginning of the year. You could read it to a class and then write your own "Important book". I read this idea on a teaching website. It's simply written and could be ideal for Years 4-6. My children enjoyed the simple language and were able to join in due to it's repitious nature. One to keep in the classroom, or even to have in the school library.
