My brother just recently bought this book and I read bits and pieces of it one night. It was a pretty interesting book with a good blend of history and recipes of cocktails, alcohol and bartending. It has less recipes compared to other cocktail books but includes as said the history of how they started - which as my brother says, is important to know. He says he would reccommend it to all and seemed like a pretty good book in general for anybody interested in that sort of thing.
