This is a wonderful book. The writing is simple and effective. It is the pictures that really get to me though. I originally came across this book whilst babysitting, and I loved it so much I went out and bought my own copy. Now I take it along to read to all my babysitting kids and they love it. It seems to affect people of all ages. Probably my favourite picture book ever.

This book is a beautiful addition to any family library. With wonderful, imaginitive paintings that inspired the text instead of the other way around. Great easy reading, with little words so it is good encouragement for the early learner too. A stimulating book, opening endless possibilities, if you can imagine.
