About the Author

Anne Taintor lives in a straw bale house in Youngsville, New Mexico in the U.S. Taintor created her first images 25 years ago, cutting and gluing images and captions sitting at her kitchen table. Now she and her daughter apply current, slightly twisted captions to vintage American magazine clippings from the 40s and 50s.
