A brilliant resource for Primary Teachers. I will (once finishing my degree) use this dictionary when students are having great difficulty understanding a topic and encourage them to look up a concept they are having trouble at. Also serves as a guide for pre-service and service teachers who may have forgotten the basics of a certain topic (which is bound to happen). At the back of the book, contains useful information about Units of Measurement, Metric Relationships, Roman numerals, Parts of a circle and many more.
Plenty of diagrams and charts which can be used as a guide to teaching in the classroom. The layout in this book is clean and easy to follow. Some words may be a little hard for some younger students or students who are struggling to understand. Also contains a computer program which is a user-friendly guide.
