I thoroughly enjoyed 'If I Stay'. There were times where I wanted it to move on a little quicker, when she talked about her life. However, it did not detract from an enjoyable read.

This is a wonderful book - beautifully written, thoughtful and ultimately very positive and encouraging. It follows almost 24 hours after a car accident that takes the lives of Mia's parents. During that time, she observes what is happening in the present and reflects on her past relationship with her parents, younger brother, best friend, boyfriend and other friends and family.

This is a compelling story - I could hardly put it down once I started reading it. I enjoyed it thoroughly, even though it was quite emotional in places and deals with some big issues. Highly recommended for both teens and adults.
