I really enjoyed this book, yes it does have a little blood and death but if you like murder mysterys you'll love this story. I just loved Penelope Wherlocke she is a strong heroine, she doesn't let anyone bring her down. Lord Ashton, Viscount Radmoor with the help of his friends make the story enjoyable. I'm just a new reader to Hannah Howells books but so far I'm a huge fan. I just can't get enough of her books.

Ever since the death of her mother, Penelope Wherlocke has been living in the shadow of her step siblings wealth.

One day,after visiting her illegitimate Wherlocke family at their mansion Wherlocke Warren,she is kidnapped, drugged and dragged to a brothel.At the brothel comes face to face with her step sisters fiance Lord Ashton,Viscount Radmoor who rescues her.

While in the brothel,Penelope meets Faith the ghost of murder victim who died in the same bed she occupied .She begins to suspect that Mrs Cranchitts brothel is more than what it seems...

I thought this was an okay read,a little too much blood and death for my taste.
