I found the book very helpful in gaining a sense of importance and pride for my daughter. Although she is nearly six and I had to explain many of the words, she was still able to understand the meanings and what the book is about. This book would be ideal for the age group of 8+.

This is a very beautiful book with lovely colourful illustrations and it does certainly demonstrate the wonderfull strengths that people with High Functioning Autism/Aspergers Syndrome pocess. It is probably better suited to quite young children as it is basically an alphabet book, which older or more academic children will have outgrown. Still, it is a book to make you smile.

I was really excited about getting this book so I could celebrate the differences with my child (whom is 9), however it did not meet my expectations. Even though it says up to 9 years of age, it is more suited to the 5 year olds! Additionally the A-Z could be generalizing a lot of the population!

I get goosebumps whenever I read this book to a class of kids. It is a great way to introduce the wonder of differences and to help *all* kids understand the special gifts we all possess.

I have read this to introduce Austism and Aspergers to a class as well as just reading it to celebrate all differences. Most kids find something in it that they can connect with. This is useful in itself as a tool to help children realise the fact that we all have unique capapbilities; and it is this that gives us all common ground with each other, not the differences themsleves ...

The illustrations and choice of words are appealing to all children (especially those with high finctioning autism and Aspergers).
I adore this book!

Wonderful resource for teachers and parents alike.
