Anatomy colouring books will always be one of the best ways to learn human anatomy. Whilst there will never be a substitute for learning on cadavers in a laboratory, colouring the plates in this text will certainly help most students retain information concerning origan/insertion of muscles, innervation of nerves, and the general course that blood vessels take. The only down side to a text such as this one is that it does not go into the detail required for more advanced courses, but, it was not designed for that purpose. All in all, a great tool for anyone taking first year human anatomy.
