About the Author
Sophie King is the pseudonym for journalist Jane Bidder. As well as writing novels - The School Run; Mums@Home, Second Time Lucky, The Supper Club and her lastest The Wedding Party*), she has had literally hundreds of short stories published in women's magazines such as Woman's Weekly; Take a Break; My Weekly; and Best. Sophie lectures in creative writing for Oxford University and West Herts College. She is also the writer in residence for HMP Grendon.
