I bought this book after purchasing Square Foor Gardening (SFG) by Mel Bathlomew to compare notes. Honestly, this book was not much help and it felt like more muscle work and time are required in the garden in contrary to SFG. This book still follows the traditional soil tilling and planting in rows but on a raised bed. The charts on rotation crops are difficult to understand due to a myriad of scientific alphabetical codes which you need to keep turning back to the previous pages. I also need to add that all the visuals are hand drawn and are in black and white. If you already have SFG, stick to that. It is just so easy to follow and understand.

This is a great book - this purchase was a replacement copy, having given my previous one to a friend working in a developing country. Thoroughly recommended! :-)
